One Piece x Food Wars Crossover shares the last chapter: Read

??

One Piece has launched the new chapter of the Food Wars Special! Shokugeki no Soma, manga series influenced by Food Wars! Shokugeki no Sanji! Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece has been in the midst of several big celebrations over the past few years, and one of the ways Shueisha has paid homage to the longtime fan favorite series is by allowing their other manga creators to try their luck at Oda. expansive world. The most surprising collaboration must have been with the creative duo behind Food Wars as they released a special series on Sanji’s Cooking.

This special limited edition Shokugeki no Soma has released a few chapters over the past two years that have shed light on Sanji’s culinary journey through various points in the series lore. The fourth chapter of the series revisited Sanji’s time training in the kingdom of Kamabakka as he increased his cooking skills for the challenges of the New World to come, and now the fifth chapter of the series has been officially released by Viz Media and fans can read it completely for free!

Chapter 5 of the Food Wars! Shokugeki no Sanji gets even closer to the present of the series as it follows the debut of Sanji sneaking into Wano Country before Luffy and the Samurai Rebels launch full war on Kaido and the Big Mom forces which now erupt in both in the manga and the anime. And exactly as you would expect from Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma writer Yuto Tsukuda and artist Shun Saeki, this new chapter shines a light on another aspect of Sanji’s culinary journey by showing how he ultimately came to install the Soba cart that we see him working in the main series.

Each of these special chapters has given fans a very different take on the world of One Piece so far, and that has been true for each of the interesting collaborations other creators have had, such as the creator of Nisekoi: False. Love Naoshi Komi and the illustrator of Dr. Stone Boichi. With One Piece entering its 25th anniversary this year, it’s probably far from the only special celebrations we’ll see for Oda’s long manga series during the year.
